January in Review

​Happy new year to all!   

Crookham Vale was finished a week before our show, which was a great achievement for our beginners section of the club as they were tasked with making a OO9 layout before our show.

On the 13th-14th of January we held our annual exhibition was a great success! With nearly 2,000 attendees over the whole weekend it was our best year ever… Crookham Vale got awarded with the Mayor’s award for his “Best in Show”!

On the 21st of January some of our members went to Astolat in Guildford with a member’s layout, Stedham Mill, and walked away with the “Best in Show” again! ​

On the 27th and 28th of January the 3mm layout Portsea owned by 2 members to Southampton Model Railway Society’s Annual Exhibition.
