During the recent opportunities to view the Northern Lights as far south as Sussex, it gave members of the club a rare chance to see our signal box as its never been seen before, bathed in the glow from the spectacle that is the Northern Lights. Happy new year to all! Crookham Vale was finished a week before our show, which was a great achievement for our beginners section of the club as they were tasked with making a OO9 layout before our show.
On Tuesday 23rd May, Bognor Regis MRC held its 2023 AGM. All officers on the club's committee gave reports, and these are available to members on request.
Members of the Bognor Regis Model Railway Club have been involved in the latest series of Hornby: A Model World, currently being aired on the Yesterday channel at 8pm on Mondays during January, February and March.
Viewers can see the work of some of our members, of all ages, and their activities in episodes 7 and 11. Episode 7 should be aired on Monday 27th February and episode 11 during March, however the latter is available now on UKTV Play. Aldingbourne Social Club are holding an open day on the 21st of August.
11:00am to 4:30pm Our club will be open and a variety of layouts, showing off different scales and operating systems will be demonstrated. Come and see the variety of activities that the club run for members of all ages and experience levels. |
